The services that we have added to our company are one’s that help benefit our customers and to provide them with the best and most up to date information in the industry. Not only are our reports one of the most comprehensive and detailed (while still being easy to understand and read) in the industry. The list of following services can be added to enhance what is already a Top Notch and Quality inspection report.
Foundation Baseline Reading (FBR)

This service can be added to each inspection for a nominal fee.
The baseline reading is done using a Zip Level Pro 2000. The purpose of the FBR is to acquire a baseline reading of the foundation on the day of the inspection. This information is added to the report and saved for
future use by our company.
In about a year we will contact you via email or phone to schedule a second reading at a price to be determined (Pricing is determined by square feet of structure).
This second reading will give us the information needed to see if you have had any type of movement, whether minor or major in your foundation. The information that is gathered could discover any possible foundation movement and allow you to take corrective measure prior to complete failure.
Move In Certified
You ask what is Move In Certified? Well basically it is a Sellers Inspection with a twist. The twist is the inspection report. The report is hosted on Fetch Report and is available to potential buyers via the internet. All a prospective buyer would have to do is go to my website (printed on the sign) and type in the address to view the report. I have listed below several reasons for either a Realtor, Seller or Buyer to use this service.
“Special Note: Just as no two home inspectors and no two reporting systems are alike, no two inspection reports, even if performed on the same property at the same time, are alike. This seller or pre-listing inspection report was performed for my client, the home seller, with the cooperation and assistance of my client, the home seller. It assumes full disclosure on the part of my client, the home seller. My client may choose to share my report with others, but it was performed solely for my client. Although Town and Country Home Inspection performs all inspections and writes all reports objectively without regard to the client’s personal interests, performing additional fresh inspections, which of course could reveal and report matters differently, should be considered.”

Recall Chek

...is the first service for consumer recalls in the United States.
...has compiled over 195 million recalls from public records, and created a
fail-safe system to check for dangerous flaws with home appliances.
Home Inspectors and Realtors have an interest in their clients’ safety, and in their liability.
Yet, many American Homes have potential and known fire hazards in them. Despite the fact that since 1974, American citizens have been protected from dangerous items in their homes by law.
If a manufacturer has designed a dangerous product, they must recall all of those items and fix them.
The problem in the law is that most often it’s up to you, the consumer, to find out whether your appliances are potential fire or safety hazards!
As a result, today many of these dangerous appliances are still in homes across America.
That’s why you need a RecallChek!
How it works:
- Your Home Inspector will copy the model numbers of your built-in home appliances and HVAC system. (If accessible)
- At RecallChek Headquarters, your model numbers are computer matched against millions of recalls using our Model Number Algorithm (MNA).
- RecallChek issues a report within 48 hours, to both the inspector and your client.
- In the event of a potential recall, we inform home buyers:
- The nature of the recall,
- Where the product was sold,
- How to remedy the defect, and
- How to get the item repaired or replaced in most cases – FREE
Special Note: This report is separate from the home inspection, and conducted by RWS Inspector Services Group. The report is completely optional, and sent directly to the home owner from RWS.
Don’t Need a Home Inspection?
You can take advantage of this service by clicking on the RecallChek button and filling out the information yourself. The fee for this service is $29.99.
Also we can come to your home for a nominal charge and collect the information for you.
Chinese Drywall Inspection:
What is Chinese Drywall? The term “Chinese Drywall” (or tainted drywall or wallboard) refers to drywall imported from China from 2001 to 2007 which contains contaminants that are emitting gases which usually (but not always) create a noxious odor and corrode copper and other metal surfaces, thereby damaging your air conditioner, electrical wiring, copper plumbing, appliances and electronics.
Symptoms typically appear in about 24 months. Corrosion of electrical wiring can hamper the effectiveness of your smoke detection equipment and can create a risk of fire. Chinese drywall is also very friable, which means it is in a state where small particles can easily become dislodged with little friction, thus enabling them to easily enter your lungs. For this reason, even after Chinese drywall is removed, the toxic drywall particulate may remain unless properly removed. To date, there is no proven or approved remediation protocol and, therefore, one should exercise caution before removing Chinese drywall and remediating one’s home.
Town and Country Home Inspection also capable of inspecting for Chinese Drywall.
We are listed on two separate sites as Chinese Drywall Inspectors.
